he Giants are Rising: A New Era for Old Kampala SS Football

Football at Old Kampala Senior Secondary School is more than just a sport; it is a tradition of excellence that has spanned decades. As we move into the 2026 season, the atmosphere at the "Old Kampala Stadium" is electric, with the Old Kampala Warriors looking to restore the school to its rightful place at the summit of Ugandan school football.

A Legacy of Champions

Old Kampala SS remains one of the few elite schools in Uganda to have tasted national glory multiple times, with our historic Copa Coca-Cola wins in 1999 and 2003. Under the new administration led by Ms. Nakintu Dorothy, there is a renewed focus on sports as a pillar of student discipline and school pride.

The KCCA FC Partnership: A Pathway to the Pros

We are proud to continue our standing as a KCCA FC School of Excellence. This strategic partnership means our players aren’t just playing for school pride—they are being watched by the best scouts in the country.

  • Professional Coaching: Our technical team works closely with KCCA FC’s youth structures to ensure our training methods are modern and professional.

  • Player Pathways: Many of our brightest talents are being prepared for the KCCA FC Soccer Academy, bridging the gap between school football and the Uganda Premier League.

The 2025/2026 Season: Building Momentum

After a competitive run in the 2025 USSSA National Boys’ Football Championship in Ngora, the Warriors have returned to the training ground with a point to prove. The focus this year is on:

  • Technical Precision: Improving our clinical finishing and defensive organization.

  • Youth Integration: We are seeing a surge of talent from our Under-16 team, who are now graduating into the senior squad.

  • Home Support: We want to make Old Kampala a "fortress" where no rival team can easily take points.

A Call to the Old Boys and Fans

To our alumni and the "Warriors" fans across the city: your support is our 12th man! We invite you to attend our home fixtures and cheer on the next generation of stars. Whether it’s a friendly match or a high-stakes regional qualifier, your presence inspires the boys to play for the badge.

"We aren't just building football players; we are building leaders. The discipline they learn on the pitch will serve them for the rest of their lives."Old Kampala Games Department.
